This position will work within the DCP (Digital Commerce Platforms) group to develop and implement various enterprise initiatives and technical projects related to Fisher Scientific and Thermo Fisher Scientific ecommerce websites. The candidate will work with others on the development team to translate business requirements and technical design into well-optimized functioning code using Python and related web frameworks.

• Develop efficient, scalable Python code to support automation across various functions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement automation workflows.
• Optimize and debug existing code, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team

• Education: Bachelor’s in engineering or master’s in computer science
• Mandatory Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
• 0-2 years of Python development experience.
• Strong foundational knowledge of Python and experience with frameworks like Robot Framework & Pytest.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and experience integrating with databases.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with an eye for optimization.
• Basic understanding of version control (Git) and CI/CD processes.
• Basic understanding of software development methodologies like Agile or Scrum.
