Cisco is hiring entry‑level Software QA Engineers for its Bangalore development hub on a hybrid schedule. The role involves creating and executing test plans, developing automation scripts in Python, analyzing logs and test results, reproducing complex issues, and supporting lab infrastructure with routers, switches and wireless access points. Candidates will also adopt AI‑assisted engineering tools to improve testing efficiency. The position is open to recent graduates with a B.E, B.Tech or B.Sc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields, who possess solid programming fundamentals, basic networking knowledge and strong analytical debugging skills. Preferred candidates have hands‑on lab experience, familiarity with Wi‑Fi/802.11 standards and may hold or be pursuing a CCNA certification.

• • Write, update and execute comprehensive test plans and functional test cases for wireless features.
• • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and regression scripts using Python.
• • Review system logs and test traces to identify performance gaps or defects.
• • Recreate complex customer issues and edge cases in lab environments.
• • Set up, reconfigure and upgrade software testbeds and physical lab devices (routers, switches, APs).
• • Learn and use AI‑assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot to boost scripting efficiency.

• • Full‑time Bachelor’s degree (B.E / B.Tech) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• • Strong programming fundamentals, preferably in Python.
• • Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing).
• • Good analytical and debugging skills.
