Job Description
Caterpillar’s off‑campus recruitment drive invites fresh engineering graduates to join as Software Engineers at its Chennai digital hub. This full‑time, entry‑level role offers the opportunity to work on large‑scale infrastructure projects within an Agile Scrum framework. Candidates will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications, translate client requirements into automated solutions, and uphold code quality using modern development practices.
Roles & Responsibilities
- - Design, develop, write, and deploy complex software applications using modern agile methods.
- - Gather client operational requirements and map technical solutions to automate workflows.
- - Write clean code for new applications and enhance existing codebases.
- - Utilize enterprise automated testing tools for rigorous testing and post‑deployment validation.

- - Strong foundation in computer science concepts, programming fundamentals, and SDLC processes.
