Job Description
The Software Engineer role at Netsmart Recruitment involves participating in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing and deployment. The incumbent will develop software solutions, perform root‑cause analysis, conduct code reviews and solve technical problems to meet business requirements. The position also requires building knowledge of clinical and financial workflows, running software tests, reviewing results and supporting technical solutions. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, proficiency in programming, relational databases, SQL scripting and cloud‑based SaaS architectures are preferred. A prior technical internship in a software or healthcare organization is advantageous.
Roles & Responsibilities
- - Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirement analysis, planning, design, development, testing and deployment.
- - Design, build and deliver software solutions with guidance.
- - Build knowledge of clinical and financial workflows and apply it daily.
- - Execute software tests, review results and perform root‑cause analysis.
- - Participate in project code reviews and provide technical input.
- - Identify, implement and support technical solutions that meet business needs.
Eligibility Criteria
- - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- - Knowledge of relevant programming languages and core programming concepts.
- - Understanding of relational databases, data modeling and SQL scripting.
- - Familiarity with cloud‑based SaaS architectures.
- - Ability to independently learn new technologies and solve problems.
- - Strong time‑management and quality‑focused work ethic.
- - Prior technical internship with a software company or healthcare organization (preferred).
