HCL is looking for a Software Engineer (Python Support Engineer) who will provide support and maintenance for Python-based applications. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating with the development team, and ensuring optimal performance of the applications.
You will work closely with engineers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver timely and effective solutions.

• Provide technical support for Python-based tools, scripts, and applications.
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve them within the defined SLAs.
• Monitor the performance of applications and identify recurring problems.
• Work with development teams to apply fixes and build enhancements.
• Analyze system issues and conduct root cause analysis.
• Document technical steps, solutions, troubleshooting logs, and best practices.
• Support development, testing, and deployment activities when required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Must be a B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech graduate.
• Eligible batches: 2023 and 2024.
• Must have a minimum of 60% or above in 10th, 12th, and UG/PG.
• Should have 6 months to 2 years of industry experience (mandatory).
• Stream of study must be Computer Science / IT / related fields.
• Strong understanding of Python and application support workflows.

• Strong experience in Python programming.
• Understanding of debugging, troubleshooting, and error analysis.
• Familiarity with backend systems, scripts, and APIs.
• Knowledge of SQL, databases, and application monitoring tools.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work from Bangalore or Chennai locations.
