Job Description
HCL is looking for a Junior Tester to join their team. The role involves working on testing processes, regression execution, and debugging issues.
Candidates will be responsible for monitoring test execution, identifying failures, and ensuring system stability. The role also includes working with testing tools, scripting, and semiconductor-related technologies.
This position provides hands-on experience in testing and debugging, which is important for building a career in software testing.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor regression testing
- Identify and triage test failures
- Rerun tests and ensure system stability
- Debug test failures and analyze issues
- File and track tickets for bugs
- Respond to support queries
- Ensure issue resolution within SLA timelines
- Work with internal regression systems
- Collaborate with team members
- Maintain testing processes and documentation
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Electronics graduates preferred
- Freshers are eligible
- Any batch graduates can apply
- Basic knowledge of semiconductor domain
- Understanding of testing concepts
- Knowledge of Linux
- Programming or scripting knowledge required
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
