Job Description
As a Software Engineer Trainee – Technical Graduate Apprentice, you will join Cisco’s engineering team to help shape the future of AI-powered infrastructure and security systems. You will work on projects such as improving data center energy efficiency using AI, building smart security systems, and optimizing network traffic with machine learning.
This role offers hands-on exposure to modern programming languages, SaaS deployments, automation tools, and change management processes, making it an excellent starting point for a long-term career at Cisco.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Work with programming languages and modern development methodologies
- Assist in deploying new software and upgrades in large SaaS environments
- Follow change management procedures and deployment processes
- Develop and maintain automation tools used by operations teams
- Support smooth and reliable software delivery with minimal disruption
- Collaborate with engineers across AI, networking, and cybersecurity domains
- Learn and apply best practices in software engineering and operations
- Contribute to improving system efficiency and operational excellence
Eligibility Criteria
