Job Description
Honeywell is looking for enthusiastic entry-level Software Engineers who are interested in working with DevOps tools, CI/CD automation, and cloud infrastructure technologies.
The selected candidates will help design and maintain automation workflows that support the development, testing, and deployment of software applications. Engineers will also collaborate with development teams to improve build reliability and deployment efficiency.
This role involves working with tools such as GitHub and GitHub Actions to manage repositories, automate workflows, and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Candidates will also use Python scripting to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
In addition, engineers will assist in monitoring applications, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining documentation related to deployment and infrastructure processes.
This role is ideal for candidates who want to build a career in DevOps engineering, automation, and software development.
Roles & Responsibilities
- • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- • Automate repetitive operational tasks using Python scripts
- • Manage repositories, branches, and release workflows using GitHub
- • Create build, test, and deployment workflows for applications
- • Maintain documentation including runbooks and pipeline documentation
- • Assist in monitoring systems and troubleshooting incidents
- • Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes
- • Ensure build reliability and deployment consistency
- • Follow security best practices such as secrets management and vulnerability scanning
- • Support the improvement of automation and developer productivity
Eligibility Criteria
- • Candidates must have B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech degree from a recognized university
- • Freshers and candidates with up to 3 years of experience are eligible
- • Basic programming or scripting knowledge is required
- • Understanding of DevOps concepts is preferred
- • Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- • Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems
- • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- • Ability to work in a team environment
- • Strong communication skills
- • Willingness to learn new technologies
