Intuit is hiring Software Engineer 1 professionals who are at the early stage of their career and eager to learn, grow, and contribute to meaningful products. This role is ideal for candidates with less than two years of industry experience, including fresh graduates with strong academic, project, or internship backgrounds.

As this is a general hiring role, selected candidates will be aligned with teams based on their skills, interests, and career goals. You will work on cloud-based, platform, mobile, and SaaS products that impact millions of users globally.

The role provides exposure to frontend, backend, full-stack, or mobile engineering, along with mentorship from experienced engineers to help you build a strong foundation for a long-term software engineering career.

• Contribute to Intuit’s core financial products and engineering platforms
• See your work released to production and used by real customers
• Apply best practices in software design, development, and support
• Receive continuous feedback, mentorship, and hands-on learning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong professional relationships

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
• Computer Science
• Information Technology
• Software Engineering
• Or related technical fields
• Equivalent practical experience is also considered
• Experience Requirements
• 0–2 years of professional experience
• Internships, academic projects, or personal projects are acceptable
• Other Requirements
• Strong interest in building a career in software engineering
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

• Hands-on experience with one or more programming languages:
• Java
• Python
• JavaScript
• C++
• Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
• Foundational knowledge of Agile development practices
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Awareness of frontend frameworks and modern development tools is a plus
