About Company
Oracle is hiring Software Developer 1 professionals to work on developing and maintaining software solutions across databases, applications, tools, and systems. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in programming, problem-solving, and software design concepts.
As a Software Developer 1, you will work closely with senior engineers and technical teams to design, develop, debug, and enhance software applications in line with Oracle’s engineering standards.
Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs related to Oracle’s products and platforms. You will contribute to improving existing systems and building new features within established software architectures.
Freshers joining this role will receive exposure to enterprise-level software development, tools, and processes, helping them build a strong technical foundation and practical experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and debug software programs
- Work on applications, databases, tools, networks, and system software
- Understand software architecture and follow design specifications
- Build enhancements within an existing software architecture
- Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA and product teams
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Follow coding standards and best practices
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates applying for Oracle Off Campus Hiring 2026 must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognized university
- Educational background in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related fields
- 0 to 2 years of experience (Freshers can apply)

Skills Required
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C, C++, Python, or similar
