You will collaborate with global teams to maintain high data quality, accuracy, and timeliness. The role offers exposure to energy data research, analysis, and industry practices. You will join a collaborative, experienced team, contributing to key datasets that support client products and analytics, while developing expertise in upstream and midstream energy.
- Extract, validate, and analyze data for wells, pipelines, power plants, and transmission assets.
- Research energy companies, operators, and infrastructure projects across regions.
- Review regulatory filings, technical reports, and industry publications to gather relevant data.
- Add new wells, assets, and energy developments to databases.
- Manage datasets related to land records, contracts, and operational logs.
- Communicate with industry stakeholders via calls and emails to validate and enrich data.
- Resolve client queries promptly while maintaining data accuracy.
- Identify new data sources and enhance collection processes.
- Update databases in standard formats to keep information current.
- Collaborate with teams on deliverables, workload distribution, and data quality improvements.
- Candidates must hold a degree in Geology, Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Power Engineering.
- Expertise in handling well data, power plant and transmission data, as well as logs tied to land records and contracts.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data accuracy.
- Efficiently manages multiple datasets and research tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Comfortable working flexible or rotational shifts (10 AM–7 PM IST or 2 PM–11 PM IST).
