Job Description
ShareChat is hiring for the position of Product Analyst – Intern in Bangalore.
As a Product Analyst Intern, you will work closely with the product and analytics team to:
Analyze user behavior
Extract insights from large datasets
Identify trends and patterns
Support product growth decisions
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with data and want to build expertise in product analytics within a high-scale consumer internet company.
If you perform exceptionally during the internship, you may receive an opportunity for a full-time role.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Query ShareChat’s analytical database using SQL.
- Work on ShareChat’s data infrastructure built on Redshift.
- Write scalable scripts to fetch or modify data through APIs.
- Analyze large datasets related to user behavior.
- Identify trends, patterns, and product improvement opportunities.
- Work with cross-functional teams including product managers and engineers.
- Prepare reports and present insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all analyses.
- Apply critical thinking to derive meaningful conclusions from data.
- Support experimentation and product feature optimization.
- This role combines technical data skills with business insight.
Eligibility Criteria

Skills Required

- Strong SQL knowledge.
- Experience working with databases.
- Understanding of data models and database design.
- Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques.
- Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., Business Objects).
- Knowledge of statistical tools:
- Excel
- SPSS
- SAS
- Basic understanding of programming concepts (XML, JavaScript, ETL frameworks preferred).
- Ability to work with APIs for data fetching.
