Job Description
The Software Engineer II will design, develop, and deliver high-quality software features. The role involves coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting across the entire application development lifecycle. Candidates should be self-driven, curious, proactive, and impact-oriented, with the ability to collaborate across partner teams. The role also includes monitoring systems, analyzing telemetry data, and improving platform reliability and performance.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, reliable software solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Debug, test, and troubleshoot applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and partner teams.
- Instrument systems and analyze telemetry to improve product health.
- Work on performance optimization and scalable system architecture.
- Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) for on-call monitoring and issue resolution.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong coding experience in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Solid computer science fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
- Backend development experience is a strong advantage.
Skills Required
- Strong technical design, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with distributed systems and large-scale platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or similar.
- Ability to work independently and handle ambiguity.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Prior experience with online search or advertising platforms is a plus.
