As an Intern QA (Quality Assurance) Engineer at Alcon, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of digital health applications. You will work closely with product owners, developers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define testing strategies.

Your role will involve writing test cases, executing different types of testing such as regression, smoke, and sanity testing, and identifying bugs. You will also contribute to automation testing wherever possible. The primary goal is to deliver high-quality software solutions that provide the best user experience.

This role is ideal for candidates who have an interest in software testing, problem-solving, and working in an Agile environment.

• Work as part of a Scrum team and contribute to QA deliverables
• Create and maintain test strategies, scenarios, and test cases
• Perform various testing types including unit, integration, and regression testing
• Execute test cases and document results accurately
• Identify, report, and track bugs using testing tools
• Ensure software quality before release
• Participate in test reviews and provide sign-offs
• Manage test environments and test data effectively
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and go-live activities
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to improve product quality

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
