Job Description
As a Specialist Programmer or Digital Specialist Engineer at Infosys, you will work on advanced technology solutions for global clients. Selected candidates will be involved in:
Building scalable applications using modern frameworks
Developing microservices & cloud-enabled solutions
Working on full-stack development (Frontend + Backend)
Solving complex technical problems using data structures & algorithms
Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams
These roles require candidates with strong programming skills, analytical thinking, and a passion for innovation.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, scalable software solutions as part of the engineering team.
- Work on full-stack development including front-end, back-end, APIs, databases, and cloud integrations.
- Build and enhance applications using modern frameworks and tools.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and technical brainstorming sessions.
- Write clean, well-structured, and efficient code following industry best practices.
- Analyze user requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and senior engineers to deliver new features.
- Debug, test, and troubleshoot applications to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Follow agile methodology, attend daily standups, and contribute to sprint planning.
- Continuously learn new technologies and upgrade your skill set based on project needs.
Eligibility Criteria
- 📌 Education Required:
- Candidates from the following degrees are eligible:
- B.E / B.Tech
- M.E / M.Tech
- MCA
- MSc (Mathematics / Computer Science / Integrated 5-year Programs)
- 📌 Academic Requirements:
- 60% and above in 10th & 12th
- Minimum 7 CGPA or 70% in graduation/post-graduation

Skills Required
- Technical Skills
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, C, or C++.
- Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs).
- Basic understanding of Database systems (MySQL / MongoDB / SQL).
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks (React / Angular preferred).
- Exposure to backend frameworks like Node.js, Django, Spring Boot is an added advantage.
- Understanding of Operating Systems, Networking, and Software Engineering concepts.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and optimized code.
