As a Software Development Engineer at HPE, you will work on system software development, contributing to the design, development, testing, and enhancement of networking and platform software solutions. • Develop and enhance system software components, including:
• Operating systems
• Networking software
• Utilities, databases, and internet-related tools

• Execute defined test plans and testing protocols
• Identify, log, and debug software defects
• Collaborate with internal and outsourced development partners on software design and development
• Participate as a team member in software engineering projects
• Contribute to building cost-effective, reliable, and high-quality solutions for low to moderately complex products

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
• Computer Science
• Information Systems
• Or equivalent discipline
• 0–2 years of experience (Freshers eligible to apply)

• Understanding of software systems design tools and programming languages
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of software systems running on multiple platforms
• Basic understanding of:
• Coding
• Testing
• Debugging procedures
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in English and local language
