Job Description
Google is hiring a Systems Development Engineer II to build, maintain, and improve large-scale production systems. In this role, you will develop software solutions, automate infrastructure, improve system reliability, monitor production environments, and resolve technical issues affecting critical services. You will collaborate with software engineers, site reliability engineers, and infrastructure teams to deliver secure and highly available systems. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills, experience with Linux-based environments, and a solid understanding of networking, distributed systems, and automation.

- Design and develop scalable system software.
- Build automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor production systems and ensure high availability.
- Troubleshoot complex technical and infrastructure issues.

Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of software development or systems engineering experience.
- Good understanding of operating systems and networking.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with Linux or Unix environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
