Shell is hiring Freshers for the Data Science Analyst role as part of its Digital Process Twin (DPT) portfolio in Bangalore. This role focuses on applying data science methodologies to process event data to support analytical modeling, operational insights, and data-driven decision-making.

As a Data Science Analyst, you will work alongside experienced data scientists, engineers, and process analysts to prepare, analyze, and visualize data. The role contributes to improving business process efficiency and performance through process mining and analytics.

The Digital Process Twin Centre of Excellence (CoE) aims to empower process transformation using digital process twins and advanced process intelligence. Shell is recognized as an industry thought leader in process analytics, collaborating with academic institutions, technology vendors, and industry forums to drive innovation.

• As a Data Science Analyst at Shell, your responsibilities will include:
• 🔸 Data Preparation & Transformation
• Support preparation, cleansing, and transformation of process event data
• Maintain high standards of data quality and consistency
• Assist in building and maintaining data models and pipelines
• 🔸 Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)
• Perform EDA to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
• Analyze structured and event-based data
• Support development of predictive metrics and performance indicators
• 🔸 Visualization & Reporting
• Create dashboards and reports using tools such as:
• Power BI
• Tableau
• Plotly Dash
• Communicate analytical insights effectively to stakeholders
• 🔸 Process Mining & Analytics
• Prepare event logs for process mining analysis
• Assist in using platforms like Celonis EMS or SAP Signavio
• Support process transformation initiatives
• 🔸 Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Integrate data from enterprise systems such as:
• SAP
• Salesforce
• ServiceNow
• Work with data scientists and engineers to design features and models
• 🔸 Responsible AI & Documentation
• Develop understanding of Responsible AI and Explainable AI concepts
• Contribute to documentation, testing, and quality assurance

• Candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
• Computer Science
• Data Science
• Engineering
• Mathematics
• Related quantitative field
• 0–2 years of experience in data analytics or data science
• Freshers are eligible to apply
