Job Description
Join CGI as a Graduate Software Engineer and begin your career in a dynamic technology environment. Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain backend applications using COBOL, JCL, and DB2 technologies.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to manage, retrieve, and analyze application data.
- Collaborate with senior developers to build, debug, and improve enterprise software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and performance improvement activities.
- Follow coding standards, learn new technologies, and contribute to successful project delivery.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 1 year of experience are eligible to apply.
- Basic understanding of COBOL programming and Mainframe concepts.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases is preferred.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
- Understanding of SQL, MySQL, or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with Git or GitHub version control tools.
