Job Description

The Business Development Executive role at redBus focuses on managing and expanding partnerships with bus operators across the assigned territory. Candidates selected for this role will work directly with transport operators and help them grow their business through the redBus platform.

The role requires frequent interaction with bus operators, understanding their business requirements, and helping them improve their ticket sales through digital channels. Candidates will also support onboarding new bus operators, promoting redBus products, and providing solutions to operator challenges.

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a field-oriented role, interacting with partners, and driving revenue growth. The job also involves analyzing market trends, managing relationships with partners, and identifying new opportunities to improve operator performance.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Candidates selected for the Business Development Executive role will perform the following responsibilities:
  • Visit assigned bus operators regularly and maintain strong relationships with them.
  • Work closely with operators to grow their business on the redBus platform.
  • Identify new bus operators and onboard them onto the redBus system.
  • Provide training and guidance to operators on how to sell tickets online.
  • Handle operator concerns and provide suitable solutions to their business challenges.
  • Promote visibility and growth products offered by redBus.
  • Encourage operators to adopt digital tools and improve their ticket sales.
  • Source and negotiate discount offers to improve occupancy rates.
  • Organize on-ground marketing activities to promote bus operator services.
  • Share feedback, market insights, and operator requirements with internal teams.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Candidates applying for the redBus Off Campus Drive 2026 must meet the following eligibility criteria:
  • Candidates must have completed MBA or any graduate degree from a recognized university.
  • Freshers or candidates with 0–2 years of experience can apply.
