MetLife is looking for a detail-oriented Associate Technology Services professional who can contribute to software quality assurance by executing test cases, identifying defects, and supporting test cycles across various applications.
The candidate will be responsible for manual testing activities, understanding business requirements, collaborating with developers and business teams, and ensuring high-quality software delivery through structured testing processes.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to identify test scenarios
- Write and maintain manual test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
- Perform functional, integration, system, UAT, and regression testing
- Participate in Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
- Execute test cases and validate application functionality
- Log, track, and manage defects using Azure DevOps or similar tools
- Prepare test reports and provide regular testing status updates
- Perform requirement ambiguity reviews to ensure clarity before testing
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders
- Support estimation activities and risk mitigation planning
- Assist during post-release review and support activities
- Ensure adherence to SDLC and STLC processes
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Educational Qualification
- B.E / B.Tech preferred in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Computer Applications
- Candidates from any batch are eligible

- Technical Skills (Must Have)
- Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals
- Experience in manual testing
- Knowledge of testing methodologies β Agile & Waterfall
- Hands-on knowledge of:
- Functional Testing
- Integration Testing
- System Testing
- UAT
- Regression Testing
- Defect tracking using Azure DevOps or similar tools
- Exposure to web-based and mainframe applications
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Basic knowledge of Java programming
- Basic understanding of automation tools and AL concepts
- Soft Skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to work independently
