The Application Platform Support role involves supporting banking and trading application platforms used by financial institutions. As a fresher, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and technology teams to ensure smooth platform operations and quick issue resolution.

This role requires a strong understanding of database concepts, Unix/Linux environments, and object-oriented programming principles. You will monitor applications, troubleshoot issues, analyze logs, and support production environments.

The position demands analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and effective communication skills. Candidates must be comfortable working in rotational shifts and hybrid work setups.

• As an Application Platform Support Associate, your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting banking and trading application platforms
• Monitoring system performance and application health
• Troubleshooting production issues and providing timely resolution
• Analyzing logs and identifying root causes of incidents
• Working with development teams to resolve bugs and technical issues
• Ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
• Documenting issue resolution processes clearly
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and team members
• Maintaining high availability and reliability of applications
• Following standard operating procedures and escalation protocols

• Provide L1/L2 support for financial applications
• Manage incident tickets and prioritize tasks effectively
• Perform database queries using SQL for issue analysis
• Work on Unix/Linux environments for troubleshooting
• Communicate technical updates to stakeholders
• Ensure smooth functioning of critical business applications
• Participate in shift-based support operations

• To succeed in this role, candidates should have:
• Strong knowledge of SQL

• Knowledge of RDBMS concepts
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS)
