Wipro Technologies, in line with its innovative and future-focused culture, has launched the SIM – School for IT Infrastructure Management program. This initiative is designed to provide Diploma holders with a structured pathway to build expertise in IT Infrastructure Services.
Under this program:
Candidates will work as full-time employees at Wipro
Simultaneously pursue a B.Tech degree in Information Systems
The B.Tech degree will be fully sponsored by Wipro
The degree will be awarded by a university recognized as an Institute of Eminence (IoE) by the Government of India
This model allows candidates to earn, learn, and grow together, gaining both practical industry experience and a recognized engineering degree.

• Selected candidates under the SIM program will be trained and involved in:
• Supporting IT infrastructure operations and services
• Assisting in network, system, and application support
• Monitoring and maintaining enterprise IT environments
• Learning and applying concepts related to cloud, automation, and digital infrastructure
• Working with internal teams to resolve technical issues
• Following IT service management and operational best practices
• Continuously upgrading technical and professional skills
• Supporting business operations through reliable IT services
• This role provides a strong foundation for a long-term career in IT Infrastructure, Cloud Operations, and Enterprise Technology Services.

• Candidates must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible:

• Diploma in any of the following disciplines:
• Computer Science
• Information Technology
• Computer Engineering
• Computer Technology
• Electronics
• Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Telecommunication
• Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Computer Science and Technology
• ✅ Academic Requirements
• Minimum 50% and above in Diploma
• Core Mathematics must have been studied as a subject in Diploma
• ❌ Business Mathematics and Applied Mathematics will NOT be considered
• ✅ Education Gap
• Maximum of 3 years education gap is allowed
• Gap counted between 10th standard and commencement of Diploma
• ✅ Course Type
• Only full-time Diploma courses are permitted
• ❌ Part-time, correspondence, or distance learning Diploma courses are not allowed

• Basic understanding of IT and computer fundamentals
