As a Technical Support Representative, you will be part of IBM’s global delivery organization, supporting enterprise clients with advanced technical and security solutions. This role involves working in a collaborative delivery center environment where you will help organizations strengthen their security posture using micro-segmentation and zero-trust networking practices.

This position is suitable for candidates who are interested in networking, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT support.

In this role, you will assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure network environments. You will work with modern security technologies and support clients by troubleshooting issues, optimizing network performance, and ensuring compliance with security best practices.

Freshers will receive guidance and exposure to industry-standard tools and processes used in large enterprise environments.

• Design, implement, and maintain micro-segmentation solutions using Guardicore-based technologies
• Apply zero-trust networking principles within enterprise network architectures
• Analyze network traffic patterns and recommend segmentation and security strategies
• Manage and support highly segmented environments, including upgrades and optimization
• Understand multi-tier and distributed application architectures in data centers
• Identify server roles and define communication flows, protocols, and port usage
• Work with virtualization and container platforms such as VMware and hypervisors
• Perform packet-level traffic analysis and protocol inspection for troubleshooting
• Provide operational support for zero-trust and micro-segmentation solutions
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve critical technical issues
• Handle incident triage and resolution while meeting service-level expectations

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Master’s degree or advanced specialization in a relevant field (preferred)
• Basic to intermediate understanding of network security and enterprise networking
• Familiarity with Guardicore Centra (Akamai Guardicore Segmentation) is an advantage

• Understanding of micro-segmentation and zero-trust security models
• Knowledge of network protocols such as:
• TCP/IP
• DNS
• HTTP/HTTPS
• SMB
• RDP
• Familiarity with enterprise security tools:
• Firewalls
• Intrusion detection and prevention systems
• Endpoint security solutions
• Ability to troubleshoot network access, segmentation, and security issues
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Willingness to work in a client-facing, support-oriented environment
