As an ASDET at Swiggy, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth performance, reliability, and quality across Swiggy’s mobile apps, backend systems, and web platforms. This role offers hands-on exposure to API testing, mobile testing, automation frameworks, debugging, and working with modern testing tools used in top-tier tech companies. • Test mobile applications on both Android and iOS to ensure smooth performance and flawless user experience.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman to validate backend workflows and system responses.
• Design test plans, write detailed test cases, and create documentation to ensure complete test coverage.
• Work with testing tools like JIRA, Charles Proxy, and Postman for debugging and validating data flows.
• Understand and follow SDLC and STLC processes while working with cross-functional teams.
• Identify, log, and track defects, while analyzing severity and priority in alignment with business needs.
• Participate in regression testing, functional testing, and sanity testing across multiple platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure high-quality feature rollout.
• Support automation-related tasks when needed and contribute to improving testing efficiency.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (any stream acceptable).
• Freshers and candidates with up to 3 years experience can apply.
• Understanding of software testing models, manual testing concepts, and defect management.
• Knowledge of API testing, HTTP concepts, and REST frameworks.
• Basic exposure to object-oriented programming concepts.
• Ability to interpret test requirements, analyze results, and report issues effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team setting.

• Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of software testing principles, test case design, and QA processes.
• Understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and backend data flows.
• Familiarity with mobile testing tools and debugging methods.
• Basic exposure to programming languages (Java preferred).
• Experience or awareness of Selenium and Appium is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing solutions such as BrowserStack, LambdaTest, or similar tools.
