NTT DATA is hiring entry-level ServiceNow Developers who will participate in the design, configuration, development, and deployment of ServiceNow solutions.
Key Job Responsibilities
Assist in developing applications on the ServiceNow platform
Configure ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Catalog
Develop and maintain client scripts, business rules, UI policies, UI actions, workflows, and notifications
Work on integration tasks and platform automation when required
Participate in functional discussions with teams to understand business needs
Support testing, debugging, and troubleshooting activities
Prepare documentation for newly developed features
Work closely with senior developers and follow coding standards
Continuously enhance skills through training, certifications, and hands-on practice
- Assist in the design, development, and configuration of applications on the ServiceNow platform.
- Support implementation of ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.
- Develop and maintain client scripts, UI policies, business rules, UI actions, and workflows.
- Collaborate with senior developers and functional consultants to understand business requirements.
- Participate in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting activities during development cycles.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for enhancements and new features.
- Assist in the creation of automation scripts and reusable components.
- Work on form designing, table creation, and module configuration within ServiceNow.
- Support data migration and integration activities under the guidance of senior team members.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, daily stand-ups, and sprint planning discussions.
- Follow coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines as defined by NTT DATA.
- Continuously upgrade knowledge through ServiceNow training, certifications, and hands-on practice.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
- Understand incidents and service requests raised by users and provide initial analysis or fixes when required.
- Work proactively to identify issues, suggest improvements, and enhance overall platform performance.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (any discipline related to IT, CS, or Engineering preferred)
- Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience
- Strong interest in ServiceNow development and learning new technologies
- Good understanding of programming logic and IT concepts
- Freshers must have a basic foundation in programming and web technologies.
- Must-Have Skills
- Good understanding of JavaScript
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
- Fundamentals of SQL and relational databases
- Clear understanding of software development basics
- Logical thinking and problem-solving mindset
- Nice to Have (Preferred Skills)
- Knowledge of ITSM or ITIL processes
- Experience with any ticketing or workflow-based platforms in college projects or internships
- Understanding of REST APIs and web services
- Familiarity with MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or similar DBMS
