Job Description

The Graduate Engineer Trainee at GE HealthCare will support the Production Team Leader in implementing, developing, and guiding production teams. The role focuses on improving product quality, enhancing manufacturing processes, and supporting cultural transformation initiatives within the organization.

The trainee will be involved in monitoring production performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting initiatives that align with organizational goals. This role requires a proactive mindset, attention to detail, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Over time, the candidate will gain strong exposure to leadership practices, lean manufacturing principles, and operational excellence frameworks.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • The selected candidate will support the monitoring and improvement of productivity while ensuring that customer commitments related to quality, delivery, and cost are met effectively. The role involves assisting in the development and execution of training plans aimed at enhancing workforce capability and operational efficiency.
  • The Graduate Engineer Trainee will also support compliance-related activities, including Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, in line with plant goals and regulatory standards. Another important responsibility is supporting the implementation of LEAN manufacturing practices to improve process efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall production performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and continuous improvement efforts will be a regular part of the job.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Candidates applying for the GE HealthCare Graduate Engineer Trainee role must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering from a recognized university or institution. Fresh graduates from any academic batch are eligible to apply for this position.
