The primary purpose of this role is to strengthen customer relationships in rural banking segments while driving deposit mobilization and product penetration. The role holder works closely with Relationship Managers to acquire new customers, activate accounts, cross-sell banking products, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal bank guidelines.
• Conduct lead area mapping within the assigned catchment area and maintain accurate daily activity and sales reports.
• Prepare a customer wish list through cold calling and promotional activities to increase awareness of banking products.
• Ensure completion of account opening formalities with strict adherence to KYC norms, including mandatory field verification.
• Engage customers with multiple products during account opening such as mobile banking, net banking, RD and FD activation.
• Ensure timely account activation and maintain overall account health.
• Deliver superior customer service to capture a larger share of customer wallet.
• Resolve customer queries and service issues efficiently.
• Assess customer needs and generate revenue through cross-sell opportunities based on lifestyle and risk profiling.
• Ensure compliance with all banking policies and regulatory requirements.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance service efficiency and quality across branches.
• Support livelihood advancement and community development initiatives in rural areas.
Candidates must have completed graduation from a recognized university. Eligible degrees include BA, BCom, BBA, BSc, BTech, BE, or any other equivalent graduate qualification.
Freshers and candidates with 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in branch banking, relationship management, or sales roles are eligible to apply. Prior exposure to rural banking or field sales will be an added advantage.
Candidates should possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of banking products, customer handling, and sales processes is required. Other important skills include problem-solving ability, customer relationship management, adaptability, teamwork, and willingness to work in rural or field-based environments.
The expected salary for the Associate Relationship Manager – Liabilities role typically ranges between ₹2.5 LPA to ₹4.5 LPA depending on experience, location, and performance. Freshers usually start at the lower end of the range.
Approximate Monthly Salary Breakdown:
Gross Monthly Salary: ₹22,000 – ₹35,000
PF Deduction: ₹1,800 – ₹2,000
Professional Tax & Other Deductions: ₹200 – ₹300
Estimated In-Hand Salary:
₹20,000 – ₹32,000 per month (approx.)
