CSG is looking for enthusiastic and motivated freshers who are ready to build their career in billing systems and IT operations. The selected candidates will be responsible for system monitoring, issue resolution, and ensuring smooth production support.

This role is ideal for candidates who have basic technical knowledge of Unix, SQL, and IT Service Management (ITSM) tools like Jira, ServiceNow, or Remedy.

• As a Billing Systems Analyst at CSG, your responsibilities will include:
• Monitoring system performance and production environments.
• Performing first-level analysis using predefined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Troubleshooting basic issues in Unix/Linux and SQL environments.
• Working with ITSM tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or Remedy.
• Managing alerts via monitoring tools, scripts (Shell/Perl), and email notifications.
• Coordinating with Level 2 and Level 3 support teams for issue resolution.
• Understanding and adhering to customer SLA (Service Level Agreements).
• Handling incident triaging and escalation processes.
• Identifying recurring issues and suggesting proactive monitoring improvements.
• Documenting system architecture, operational processes, and configuration details.
• Participating in 24×7 rotational shifts and on-call schedules.
• Maintaining clear shift handover documentation and escalation matrices.
• Communicating technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Capturing detailed chronology of events for critical production incidents.
• This role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a willingness to work in rotational shifts.

• Candidates must have:
• Bachelor’s Degree in:
• Information Technology
• Computer Science
• Electrical Engineering
• Software Engineering
• Telecommunications
• Or any related technical field
• Freshers and candidates with 0–1 year of experience can apply.

• To succeed in this role, candidates should have:
• Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
• Understanding of SQL and database concepts (Oracle/MySQL preferred)
• Familiarity with ITSM tools like Jira, ServiceNow, or Remedy
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Perl, Python, Groovy, Ruby, Bash)
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills in English
• Ability to handle customer interactions professionally
• Basic understanding of telecom and billing systems (preferred but not mandatory)
