Job Description
Johnson Controls Off Campus Drive 2026 is hiring fresh graduates for the role of Associate Software Engineer – Data Scientist at its Pune location.
This role is specially designed for enthusiastic freshers who are interested in working with:
Generative AI (Gen AI)
Natural Language Processing (NLP)
Deep Learning

The selected candidates will be part of an Agile development team and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy intelligent applications.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Below are the detailed responsibilities for the Associate Software Engineer – Data Scientist role:
- Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop Gen AI-based solutions.
- Work on Large Language Models (LLMs) and apply effective prompting strategies.
- Implement Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and NLP solutions.
- Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Python.
- Build or support user interfaces using React or similar UI frameworks.
- Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure Cloud.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing applications.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning and code reviews.
- Work with DevOps tools such as GitHub and Azure DevOps.
- Containerize applications using Docker.
- Explore search technologies like SOLR, ElasticSearch, Redis, or Azure Cognitive Search.
- Continuously learn new AI frameworks and technologies.
- This role offers practical exposure to enterprise AI solutions and modern software engineering best practices.
Eligibility Criteria
