Arup is seeking a skilled BIM Engineer-Civils for its Bangalore, India, office. This opportunity is suitable for professionals with 3–6 years of experience in civil infrastructure modelling, BIM coordination, and digital engineering.
The selected candidate will develop and maintain civil infrastructure models using Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. The role involves working on highways, drainage, utilities, earthworks, and transportation projects while ensuring accurate model information and compliance with project standards.
Candidates should have practical knowledge of 2D drawings, 3D BIM models, clash detection, asset information management, and multidisciplinary coordination. Familiarity with ISO 19650 and Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows will be beneficial.
- Develop and maintain Civil 3D models for highways, drainage, utilities, and earthworks.
- Create alignments, profiles, corridors, surfaces, and pipe networks.
- Prepare accurate 2D engineering drawings and 3D BIM deliverables.
- Perform model reviews, clash detection, and quality checks using Navisworks.
- Support multidisciplinary BIM coordination and digital engineering workflows.
- Manage asset tagging, Property Sets, metadata, and asset information.
- Ensure compliance with BIM execution plans, ISO 19650, and project standards.
- Coordinate with project teams to deliver models and drawings within agreed deadlines.
- 3–6 years of experience in BIM/CAD modelling for civil infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Experience working with survey data, 2D drawings, and 3D BIM models.
- Understanding of alignments, profiles, corridors, surfaces, and pipe networks.
- Familiarity with asset information management, Property Sets, and BIM standards.
- Knowledge of ISO 19650, CDE workflows, model coordination, and quality assurance.
- Relevant HNC, HND, degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
