Alcon is looking for a motivated Finance Intern to join its Business Planning & Analysis (BPA) team. This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in areas such as financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business performance analysis.

The intern will work closely with finance professionals and business teams to review financial data, identify useful insights, and support important business decisions. The role also provides exposure to both day-to-day financial activities and strategic projects, making it a good opportunity for candidates who want to build a career in finance and business analysis.

• Assist with preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support the finance team with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Help coordinate and maintain monthly and quarterly business reviews.
• Collect, consolidate, and verify financial and operational data from different sources.
• Analyze data to identify important trends, potential risks, business opportunities, and useful insights.
• Support the preparation of ad hoc financial analysis and presentations for management.
• Help improve reporting processes and maintain accurate and reliable financial data.
• Work with teams across Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Finance to support business and financial activities.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A basic understanding of financial concepts, accounting, and business analysis is preferred.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with financial data accurately and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with different teams and manage multiple tasks.
